Hey there! My name is Sadie King. I am an entrepreneur and healthy chef.
A little about me…..
I didn’t start out as an entrepreneur. In fact, quite opposite. I grew up in a small town in CA where there wasn’t much money and not much ambition or opportunity. Don’t get me wrong, it was an amazing place to grow up and I’m grateful for it and love to visit. But I didn’t really know what making money was about and didn’t care. I went to Humboldt State University and lived a pretty laid back life. I did mostly seasonal jobs and then went traveling with the money I made. It was really a great time. But then I moved to San Diego, things cost a lot more and there was a lot more going on around me in the business world.
I decided to dabble in this business world, tried a few MLM companies, even invested in a condo and race horse breeding! Well, all I can say is, it was a learning experience. Not having much knowledge, I decided to put my faith in other people telling me these things were a good idea, I couldn’t lose, and showing me the dollar signs. Of course, the market took a turn right at the same time time and guess what? I lost…. A lot of money and energy and pride. One thing I know for sure, if it sounds too good to be true, it is!
I also have been in direct selling for almost 5 years and I had a lot of setbacks and failures through that time. Not only did I lose money on my investments, but I seemed to be working a lot and not making what I thought I should be.
But….
Through what I thought were losses and failures, I have now come out on the other side and realize that those experiences were blessings. And I am only able to see this other side because I didn’t quit. I had something in me that knew I had to keep going. I knew that I was on the right path and that I was exactly where I should be. Through failure is the only way to see success. Just like the only way to know happiness is to experience sadness, know light because of darkness. It is these that shape us and make us stronger and show us who we really are. If you have the courage to stick out owning your own business, being an entrepreneur or in a home based business you will grow and develop beyond your imagination. That is what happened to me. I learned that it is also very important to surround myself with positive, supportive and like minded people to help me on my journey.
I am interested in anything outdoors, like hiking, swimming, exploring, and beach volleyball. I love art, photography, jewelry, and creativity. I love natural health and healing, yoga, travel, good food and cooking!.
