Sadie King is a historical romance novelist. Her debut Regency romance novel, Spinster with a Scandalous Past, was published by Harlequin Mills & Boon in January 2024. Her second novel, Rescuing the Runaway Heiress is due to be published in July 2024.

Sadie also writes historical & contemporary novels under the name of Sarah L King, published via her own Ethersay Publishing imprint. To date, she has published six novels under this name, including a trilogy of novels set during the Pendle witch trials in the seventeenth century. Her latest novel, The Wax Artist, was published in 2021. This is the first in a planned historical mystery series set in late Georgian Edinburgh.

Sadie was born in Nottingham and raised in Lancashire. After graduating with a degree in History from Lancaster University, she moved to West Lothian, Scotland where she now lives with her husband and children. When she’s not writing, she loves long country walks, romantic ruins, Thai food and travelling with her family.
